I uninstalled all previous versions of Java and then went to "www.java.com" to load the latest version of Java (TM) 6 Update 3. I received a confirmatory message that Java was installed successfully.

Then I used my MSI VR320, Internet Explorer 7 to visit the website "www.poems.com.sg" but my entire screen was frozen, unable to key in my password, unable to click on anything shown on that web page.

I immediately used my ThinkPad T61 to access that web page and can confirm that there is nothing wrong with that website.

Anyone has any idea why the MSI VR320 cannot utilise Java ?

    Thanks for any idea.

i really don't think it's the laptop, you are just probably having some software problems. maybe ie7 didn't recognize java correctly? try googling "ie7 java issue" or "ie7 java problem"

    You are correct.

Your suggestion gave me vital lead to solve my MSI notebook Java problem. A big thank you for your point.

I just spent about 8 hrs trying out the various possibilities and finally the Internet Explorer 7 can now link up with Java to enable full access to that intended website.

My ThinkPad has been my primary work machine capable of accessing that website reliably. Now my MSI notebook can also be my secondary work machine besides for leisure use (which it was originally intended).

Your suggestion has contributed to my skill-set in solving this issue. Once again, thank you very much.
