    OK,working now.

Did you notice > Trinity APU A10-5750M mistake

The GX60 Hitman with the 5750M that was on sale here in Seoul in the 3rd week of March has been dropping steadily in price of the last 10 days so I'm figuring a GX60 with the 8970M is coming.

Probably pretty similar for obvious reasons.

Yeah, that's true. Long time ago, when there wasn't Extreme versions and so-on, Intel was obviously faster, but AMD had the overclockability on their side. I think that it would be smart if they return to the "roots". Nowadays in the mobile world only top tier Intels can be overclocked in most notebooks. It's time for AMD to step-up its game, as MSI just did, with its entire 2013 line.

@GenTechPC - Neat results, at really fair price I guess :)

For a limited CPU, those are very nice scores! The GPU score is very nice. It's a nice model if you want to save up some bucks and still game on. The interesting thing with the GX series is that since the GPU is much more powerful than the CPU, it won't matter what settings you use typically. Instead it would be a matter of tweaking CPU intensive settings off games.

That near P5k score is still very respectable for the price of the machine.

Glad to see these numbers! I ordered one from GentechPC and Ken Lee and the crew were all great. Laptop was delivered this afternoon put 16gb of ram and a 256gb SSD in it. Almost out of work to give it a try!

Was a little worried about the CPU bottlenecking badly since reviews were pretty scarce but now I am so ready to fire it up and enjoy it!

Why is the 8970M showing up as 128 bit when they claim its 256 bit?

Like Caliaztec said it does have cooler boost, it's actually the re-name of the Turbo Fan feature.

Could you guys benchmark BF3 multiplayer on this laptop? I was wondering how it would compare to the GX60 1ac. Also where would be the cheapest place to buy this laptop?

To the left of the power button you should see a half sun(turns off key board lights) to the left of that is the turbo fan mode

    Hi GX70 Owners,

    I'm a fellow GX60 owner (same bottleneck).
A guy called Kenglish's figured out a method to Lock the 5750m at 3.2Ghz+ (good boost!) I've described his method in one picture for you:

    Enjoy! :)

Does this work with stock CPUs? I have a friend with a GX60 and he could really use this boost.

Yup It's for stock a10-5750m however I believe the exact same change will also work on a stock a10-4600m as well.
But yes the effect is the same as what people were getting the a10-5750m ES version "overclocked".

Hey guys, I am considering purchasing the MSI GX70 3BE ( with the A10-5750M and 8970m).

How much does the laptop suffer due to the CPU, and what sort of frame-rates should i expect on games like Titanfall and other similar "next-gen" titles?

You will need to reverse the lock method you used.
