Well i have been on the fence about this laptop for a little while but its about to time to make a decision. Newegg has 43 reviews and all of them appear to be positive. The only thing digging at me about this is later down the road upgrading the Ram to 6 or even 8 gb. Does this laptop really have a maximum of 4 gb? I read somewhere that it will actually recognize up to 8 gb but it didn't seem like a reliable enough source to believe. So has anyone tried upgrading the RAM? Results?

Hey hond, i believe 8gb will work, that is the Chipsets maximum limits, people have tried more ram and said it is sucessfull but start with 1 4gb stick to see if it posts 6 gb (make sure you have 64bit os btw) and then buy the other stick after you know for sure its reading 1 4gb stick
Good luck and let us know how it goes!
