    Hi there

( Reposted from another board as this one seems more relevant)

I have a MEDION Erazer M97833 gaming laptop. It is the version with the i7-2630QM CPU, SSD and GTX460M. I have read elsewhere on this forum that this lappy is a rebranded MSI GT683 and the case seems to be identical.

I would like to know if it is possible, easy or even desirable to upgrade the graphics card in the machine to something more up to date and beefy, assuming its architecture is the same as the MSI?

Can anyone advise how I might go about changing the 460 for a newer card, say the GTX680M? If not, would an older but still more capable card be possible? Maybe a second GTX460M in SLI, if this is achievable in one case? Would heatsinks / fans / BIOS present major issues?

Final question - I am UK based and am struggling to find suppliers that sell laptop cards. Any thoughts or suggestions?

    Cheers chaps / chapesses :)
