    I been looking to get one of those, but I always wondered if the 8600M GT in it uses DDR2 or GDDR3 memory?

    Most of the msi's i've seen use DDR2 memory. If it has 512 mb ram it's basically a giveaway that it's DDR2 ;)

    that one has ddr2, the 610 which is an amd unit has a hd2600 with ddr3

    Just to let you know my stock GX600 scored right at 4000 on the 3DMark2006 which is pretty good for DDR2. I know of someone that overclocked his GX600 and he was able to get right under 5000. Hope this helps. God Bless :)
