I have had this computer for awhile now. I have tried everything that I could think of and find on Google to turn off the swipe from left, and right on my touch pad. The stupid swipe gestures persist tho. Would someone please tell me how to turn of these annoying 'features'?

Do any of these methods help? (I don't know what you've tried and haven't tried.)

I have the same issue with mine. It needs to be turned off in the synaptics drivers but v7 doesn't have those options. I suggest trying a lower version if it works + has the option.

I tackled the issue by using a mouse :D

I have this problem, too, with my MSI GT70 and it's a huge pain. Yes, the problem goes away when I use a mouse BUT I actually travel with my MSI (yes, it's a challenge given its weight but it's soooo worth it! Best laptop ever! :)), and using a wireless or wired mouse is cumbersome. I am also seeking a way to get around this problem. Does anyone know if Windows 10 will solve it?
