    Don't hate or worry about the 8gb ram; I actually have 32gb in my current alienware that will be transferred over and the 8gb will go the Alienware for resale.

    Really excited over this laptop, although I've never dropped quite this level of cash on a laptop all at once it should be solid for a couple years of heavy use, and I love the brushed aluminum chassis.

    Nice. I'm looking at that same laptop. I have an Alienware M17x R4 that I've had for a bit over 4 years and it's about time for a new one. I'm trying to decide where to order and exact configuration. Enjoy your new machine!
