    Hey all

I'm seeing some retailers OC'ing and locking these notebooks at a new freq. For instance, the base level hasewell is being advertised at 3,6ghz locked. With an unlocked bios, anyone have any advice on how to achieve these settings?

Don't know about the bios but you can tweak the cpu and igpu with intel xtu. I've undervolted the cpu to-65mv igpu 20 or 30mv(forgot) looks and feels stable.

For new users I would recommend xtu now rather than fiddling with the bios too.

Remember that your warranty wont cover you though.

Also keep an eye out for phase 2 on the barebone ;)

Can these things be applied to already purchased powernotebooks machines at a cost? :)

Just on the barebones, msi unsurprisingly does not want their retail machines messed with.

Cool! Well I have a barebone from you guys! (also it was shipped with an unlocked BIOS for some reason haha) but yeah, will these new features be able to be added on to existing barebones from your guys?
