@Phoenix if you get the GT75 I'll help you unlock menus and you are going to need to repaste and then you can see how those new bios options work out. Unfortunately I can't test it for you since I don't have access to a 8950HK even as a review sample unit MSI doesn't like me.

 

If I do get it I don't plan do do any tinkering with it for the first 6 months as it's clocked exactly like I want it to be. I live in Dubai so if I mess up anything this would be a disaster for me to send it for RMA as I live on my taptop that's why I take things slow and one step at a time.

 

@Falkentyne maybe i have luck and get again a review sample for our german msi user help user forum.
but then we have only 3-5 days time to do some things.

Not intending to hijack the thread, but is there current topic/place for GT75 Titan notebook? I find _few_ hits when searching for it.

I just bought one, well this is my 2nd technically. The first had an issue w/led backlight in the display so I had to return it. About to go pick up another instance of the thing.

The little time I had on the thing, I loved the keyboard. Not a fan of the dual power bricks. Even less of a fan that they tie them together w/some plastic mating widget. Looks like it could be removed though, (voiding warranty I'm sure).

I just literally got all my 9TB copied from my external HDDs to my new taptop.

I did a few benchmarks, next I need to do the 3DMark benchmarks as those take some time then I will pull out my GoPro to do the review

 

im on disability, and dont get much but i will prob donate just to show my appreciation for his amazingly good threads.

wowzer thats a lot of data!. btw looks like info of intel 8c would be showing up around June, an end of Q3 release is possible. could wait a bit more for 8 cores unless you really need a laptop asap.

also show us the benching of that 4.8ghz once you get it man, hook up the numbers!! wattage/voltage etcetc
