PC: GE75 RAIDER 9SE-1036US-BB7975H16G1T0DX10MA
Owner: 75 year old woman.
PC Age: 14 months
When she closed the lid, the right hinge shattered into a bunch of pieces. (Lid has not been closed since.) The PC cost a fortune, but only lasted 14 months. I asked MSI for an approximate repair cost and warranty for the fix. The warranty is only for 90 days - pretty useless since the hinges break easily.
They couldn't give me an approximate repair cost. I'm supposed to mail the PC to them. Then if I don't want it fixed, I have to pay to ship it back plus $69 diagnostic fee. Since broken hinges seem to be an MSI specialty, they should be able to give me an approximate cost ahead of time. I told the MSI person I had pics but he/she wasn't interested.
The PC owner is extremely not happy.
