Read a post from an MSI user pissed that MSI wouldn't pay the license fee to use Dolby Digital Live for their notebooks. He claimed that the Realtek audio chips have the ability to process DDL and that we are all missing out as it is a superior codec to Nahmic ...
That got me wondering if it would be possible to unlock DDL, which lead to this thread here:

These are ASUS laptop owners who have managed to unlock DDL on their machines. If they could do it ... I'm wondering if we might be able to do it too?
Have any of you tried this or even heard of it before?

yeah I have used DDL on my MSI, it was inferior to nahimic, uninstalled after coupld of days trying to make it at least similair to nahimic.haints and Gursimran82956 like this.

There are multiple ways of doing it, you could go and try J95s mod, it includes it, ull see it's meh.Gursimran82956 and haints like this.
