    Potential last resort solution for crackling noise with GT 60

    Some users even after upgrading to Realtek HD Codec R2.71 or 2.73 (Latest) have still continued to experience crackling noise, it seems that in my case switching speaker configuration from
    stereo to quadraphonic then to the desired configuration, fixes the noise for that particular session (until pc is restarted). This may work for users who have tried everything and the problem still continued. Please tell me if it has worked for you. I know this is not a drastic discovery but it is worth mentioning
