So I decided to install a fresh Vista as my keyboard was not functioning under the current install. I have the self burned recovery discs with my EX625 series. Well all went well until it loaded the desktop for the first time.

Now it gives me this message that says the system will restart after installation completes. Then about a minute later it does indeed restart. Well it does this on a constant loop. It restarts itself every single time. On top of that I still can't use my keyboard to try and stop the program from executing. It doesn't restart in safe mode.

By the way the keyboard still doesn't work though it did before the desktop launched the first time. I was able to enter a user name and password but nothing after that. What do I do?

if you didn't clear the systme partitions then you can still return to factory defaults from the hard drive....

boot and press F3 at startup.. when you see any options, press enter..

Hi, I had this problem before. When you boot with the recovery disk there are 2 options for you to choose one is a full format and recovery where all data will be lost and the other is a partial recovery where only the C: will be formated. My guess is that you choose the partial recovery. When I choose partial recovery it would always restart at startup. Then I used the full recovery option and everything was fine. I guess is that there is a bug with one of the scripts in the partial recovery option.

Try using full recovery but backup all important data you have as this will format the whole hard drive.

    Good luck!
