HI, I have had problems with my MSI CX640 laptop, specifically the Nvidia GT520M,

Early 2011 I bought a MSI gaming laptop, it was while I was on holiday and I don't have any documentation anymore, it has a gt520M discrete card and built in Intel 3000 graphics, i only used it for about six months with light periods of gaming, the last time before it failed, it was getting really incredibly hot when playing Brothers in Arms :Hells Highway, etc, but there was no warning, no graphic anomalies, etc,, just switched it on next day and the intel built in card (dual graphics) came on but no Nvidia card. I have over time replicated the gaming conditions when I was using the Nvidia card but now using the built in Intel card, Hells Heroes plays, though not as good graphics, but there is no excessive heat coming from the exhaust.

In other words, the Nvidia seemed to create massive overheating heating conditions(before failing) entirely absent under the same gaming regime with the integrated Intel3000, i am quite concerned as it could have been a fire risk, never mind losing my gaming capacity on the machine..

MSI UK are saying they don't recognise the serial number and tbh have not been very helpful, I have opened up the´machine and there is no dust, nothing, perfect(have I voided warranty?) I am reading in a lot of fora of nvidia gtx laptop cards literally just disappearing, no entry in device manager, et especially after re-installing windows, reset, etc, something strange going on?

I can't install any drivers, the install fails saying no nvidia hardware can be found, this seems to be happening on a large scále...
