    Hi guys,

If anyone has original GTX 670M 1.5GB VBIOS from MS 16F32 or GT60 0NC laptop that could share it with me, that would be great.

Plus instructions on how to flash it.

    Thanks and all the best!

Thank you Kevin! I appreciate it a lot. Do you mind sharing how-to-do flash process?

Edit: My (new) GTX 670M chipset: N13E-GS1-LP-A1.
Is yours the same? And your VBIOS version seems like updated one? All others go like this: 70.24.44.00.07 or similar.

Do the chipsets have to be the same in order to make everything work smooth? Also, I had a dead GTX 670M (same chipset as new GTX 670M) with hardware ID 10CB.1462 which was original MSI and installation of the drivers went smooth every time. How to make this happen with the new GTX 670M without modding inf file?

I do have one more VBIOS: 70.24.43.00.EA Hardware ID: 10CB.1462 (I have the .rom file, but cannot upload it due to some error)

I believe this one is for the 3GB version. Everything else would match my request. What do you think of this one?

This BIOS is the latest version and genuine for MSI's 670M MXM card. The VRAM has always been 3GB though.
You will have to flash it in DOS, the file contains script so you will only need to run f.bat to proceed while booted in DOS mode.

I made a USB DOS, booted it and started f.bat. Had to press YES, y, YES and y. After successful flash message, booted to Windows 7 64-bit, there was Standard VGA Graphics Adapter with this hardware ID: PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1213&SUBSYS_00001462&REV_A1

Downloaded latest 332.21 drivers and inf file from LaptopVideo2Go.com, installed it without problem and restarted laptop. Right after Starting Windows screen, I got BSOD. Restarted laptop, again. Same BSOD. Third time I checked launch repair and restored PC to stage before installing drivers.

Now I'm confused. Do I have to flash it once again? Or multiple times until I actually get some hardware ID? Why was the BSOD in the first place?

This is the error I got in Windows after restoring PC:

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen

Can you link the card you purchased? Drivers BSOD ing like that can indicate a bad card but with the odd bios update you did it could cause issues.

Alright, I found the VBIOS for my card. Flashed it, got it working and no need to mod inf files. Hardware ID matches the original MSI GTX 670M card.

Next thing is to deal with voltages. I cannot run games or they run and stop instantly, all this is due to voltages. From reading other posts, seems like undervolting makes drivers crash, games freeze and similar.

Currently P(0) stage runs on 0.900V.

nBitor 6.0.6 and Fermi Bios Editor 1.55 can't read VBIOS. nVidia Inspector doesn't allow me to change voltage.

So, what are the stock voltages and how do I edit voltages in VBIOS?

EDIT: Kevin, with your VBIOS, hardware ID looks like this: 00001462. When I install nVidia drivers and restart PC, I get BSOD after Starting Windows screen.

EDIT 2#: Kevin, VBIOS that you gave me is for 670MX cards. I'm lucky my GPU is still alive after update...

Well, the GTX 670M was defective. It had issues with vRam. Every vBios was actually good.

What is the problem that you have?

Thank you very much guys for refreshing this thread. I'm sure other users will appreciate it.

Also, I do have some 670M vBIOS. Some are old, some new, some original stock.

As member above said. Don't SAY you have it. ATTACH it here or at least upload somewhere.

I hoped it was 1.5GB version but looks like 3GB one. Maybe should use 570M MSI vBIOS.S which somebody "found" still remains secret.
