I have what may be (probably is) a dumb question. I just got the GT70 yesterday and i see that the dual SSD drives are the default C drive , and the much larger regular hard drive is default D.Seeing as most programs try to install under drive C that means anything I want to install i will have to change the default drive to D on installation .......so what programs if any should i install on the RAID drive C?Or should i just put everything on D??Also why didnt MSI make the larger drive the C seeing as thats where presumably most people will install programs or am I completely missing the boat here?

The SSD is going to offer much faster read/write speeds. The OS being installed on there means you're going to boot windows significantly faster. You'll want to install the applications to the SSD and save all files to the secondary mechanical HDD.

Doing this will allow Windows to boot faster as well as those applications installed to it. It won't increase performance in games in terms of FPS, but does also allow you to load maps faster.

You'll want all your music, video, pictures, etc... on the mechanical HDD.
