So I recently purchased an MSI GT75 8RG-058 and while it has been awesome, I have been unable to remove the screws that hold in the M2 SSDs so I can put in more. Every screwdriver I have used is unable to remove them. Does anyone have any experience with these screws and is able to recommend a particular screwdriver?

Unable to remove them how? Too big, too small? Are the screws stuck or stripped? They should be a normal Phillips head screw in either size 0 or 00 (can't remember off the top of my head). A standard computer repair kit that you can buy from Amazon or iFixit will have one. Failing that, your local hardware store might have one.

I don't think they are stripped, as there are three screws and I am unable to remove any of them. I have tried Philips head size 00, 0 and 1. It's very strange, as I can remove the three screws that hold in the heat spreader but not the screws that hold in the actual drives. Maybe my screwdrivers are crappy? Can you recommend a decent, cheap screwdriver set from Amazon?

This screw? Very easy to remove. Seems like your screwdriver are screwing with you man. Get a new screwdriver.

I'm using this Creston 30-in-1 precision screwdriver set for under $8 and it worked just fine. The only tight screw are the ones that holds the drive caddy screw.

If you're in a pinch and can't get your hands on another, you can take the next smallest bit and push it partway through a rubber band, that should get you enough friction to turn it without stripping it. That said, if you can wait, get better screwdrivers. Proper tools are always preferable to quick hacks.

Not if you want more rare bits.
I wanted the 115 bit set. Some bit sizes that are used are not in that kit.

So I ended up canceling the Amazon order and getting a set from Microcenter. Apparently, the screws holding in the M.2. SSDs required a PZ #00 screwdriver (I had never even heard of this), while the screws for the heat spreader used a regular Philip's head.

Those kits...I think if I could actually find all my bits and drivers over the years they would add up to one. With a lot of duplicates.
