My wireless works but will have random disconnects multiple times in an hour for periods lasting around 1-2 minutes. Also, my backspace is squeaking incredibly loud and it has a really annoying sticky feeling.
I don't want to send my laptop in for a week to have it repaired, so would MSI be willing to send me the parts - like the keyboard - and I send them the old parts back? It's only 2 weeks old so if need be I can send it back to the store, but that is a big hassle.
Thanks

Well got a quick response from MSi at least. It's a no go. Guess time to return it to the store.

I guess its a good thing those issues came up during your return period. Hopefully the next one wont have any issues.

Was warranty repair offered to you? -
I had two options, mail in the laptop or mail in the keyboard. I told them I can't use my laptop without a keyboard and I need my laptop for work so I can't have a one week downtime. As for the wireless issues, I have no idea what's wrong - it's very periodic. Everything is up-to-date. I really wanted to give the MSi a chance with warranty because I really hate the idea of returning a nice laptop and then have it be refurbished when it's only the keyboard/wireless issue.

Do you have a spare USB keyboard that you can plug in while sending the keyboard away? -
I do, but I use this computer away from home the majority of the time and it would be very inconvenient to carry a full size keyboard with me. I can get a free replacement from Amazon in a day, which is what I am doing, but like I said I really hate refurbishing a laptop just because of a squeaking/stuck backspace.

It's likely going to be sent back and repaired then resold so don't worry too much.

I see, that's good.
