    I can't seem to find the model number to register mine so no warranty..has anyone does this yet? let me know thanks!

    well, i don't have mine yet... but there should be some sticker on the bottem of it with that. Else, call MSI CA and ask... they *should* know

    I haven't registered a Laptop yet, ever. I am not sure that it would really matter much...

    The serial # and part # are in the battery bay. i.e. pull out the battery and look at the back, there should be two numbers, a product ID #, and a serial #. (The photos on the MSI page don't apply to the barebones, and I only found this out when I had to yank the battery because of a different problem.)

    Also sometimes the vendor that you purchased the barebones from will already have registered the barebones IF they built the machine up for you fromt he base barebones. A regular barebones w/nothing installed really shouldn't have been registered IMO, but who knows...
