    Hi all,

I'm on the verge of insanity because of driver issues.

I have a ZT systems rebranded MSI Gx600, which has the 8600m GT ddr2 512mb version. I wanted to update the drivers (last updated in early 2011) to the newest ones.

No matter what version I update to, I keep on getting code 43 error and windows disables my card. i had to take out the driver disc and reinstall the original drivers after installing-removing and re-installing 8 different versions of drivers.

Can someone please help me figure out whats the latest version of drivers I can update to? Its incredibly annoying going through driver versions like crazy.

[edit:] The driver version I am stuck at is 260.99 which is from oct 2010.

I have tried both nVidia official drivers as well as laptopvideo2go's modded inf drivers.

    MSI GX600
    core 2 duo 5850 (2.2 ghz)
    4 gb ram
    8600m gt 512MB DDR2
    windows 7 x64

    Thanks in advance. :)

use driver sweeper to permemantly remove the drivers then try again with different version..

use the MSI's drivers if that dont work! (it sucks, I know! but you don't have choice)
