I recently picked up an MSI GP62MVR 7RGX 034US and I can't seem to find build information anywhere on MSI's website about this model.

It has an i7 7700HQ, 16GB RAM, GTX 1070, 256GB SSD, 1TB Mechanical, and a Chi Mei CMN15D6 N156HGA-EAL screen (I don't mind it, for how poorly that is typically reviewed).

Anyone have any history or links to this specific model? I cant even find a GP62 version with a factory 1070 installed. This has all of the factory stickers, and I've verified the hardware, so I don't think it was something that someone upgraded.

perfect. thank you! That explains it, as we have Microcenter, locally.

Really digging this build and aside from the display panel, it packs a lot of punch for a smaller laptop (compared to my GT75VR).
