I think exist 3 types ,.,.i checked some vbios-es and have 3x different TDP
from GT83 - is different ,.,from similar older notebooks or GT83+SLI / and from GT75 above

    and the cards look like
+ power cable / without power cable / and flipped VR position " closer to the slot"

    and second question
    try compare 1070 + OC on 200W tdp vs 1080 on 200W ?
,,.GTX1070 still have only 115W "or from another brand 125W MAX" and not see any big different.

The power increase on the 1070 above 170-185w tends to taper off on returns so most tend to figure out what the best efficiency then create the vbios so they dont pull more than they need.

There have been rare instances of overclocking 1070 memory past desktop levels, certainly not the norm but just continues to color the 1070 as the dark horse which tends to belong to the card below the flagship.

What seems to be lost in the noise is my vbios is not a stock vbios. My laptop was tuned by another member of these forums and the vbios was tailored around that. Initial testing was done at 200w but 190w was better suited and I dont tend to pull above 185w.

    150W / 180W / 200W is MSI vbios what i saw :ú
another brand is up 220W ,.,.and possitible reads + 5-10W by monitoring

    1080 - GDDR5X
    1070 - GDDR5
,..,gtx 1080 benefits is only in heavy usage ,.,.,.but reason for UPGRADE ? I think is minimal "better try OC when you have GTX1070 or TDP mod"
or 1080 upgrade + TDP mod

and that might close it :D
    ,.,.best upgrade "new notebook"

I dont care what you saw, its custom vbios on my system so you will not be able to just go looking around techpowerup and find it, nor would there be any reason why that would even be logical.

I give up, you guys can keep talking passed everyone in favor of your own preconceived conclusions.

A sign of someone who has no argument is the one who has to turn to insults. Which is why nearly all your posts were removed and all your edits deleted. Since they only serve to save your own ego which does nothig for this thread and has no place in this forum.

I provided receipts to every point I made, you? Not sure you even have basic reading skills nor comprehend anything that falls outside your worldview.

I still have the same system, I use it everyday and has been my daily driver for quite some time. I guess I would resort to fud just as well if I were to shrivel up at any sign or hints of proof being put on the table.Which is why you haven't disproved anything single point I made here in this thread, nor even made a real attempt o do so. Just insults, because you've decided to argue with someone without realizing you are just a bag of hot air.

The only Posts that were deleted were "MY POSTS" "ALL OF THEM" " And they were deleted by ME. I was providing info, links to parts and general info related to updating GT73 or GT75 to MSI 200watt GTX 1080 and, as a second Option Upgrading to Dual MSI GTX 1070. NOBODY was Listening to what I had to say so I simply deleted everything
reciever stomped in and talking about modified V Bios on a different card in a different laptop
    Upgrade MSI GT73 SLI
