I own a MSI S6000 notebook with internal webcam and using webcam for first time. The webcame however is not working with Skype. I know the camera works because it works fine when I use MSI Webcam companion (used to make videos with webcam) which came with the computer. I connected with my sister on Skype today and could see and hear her and she could hear me, but she couldn't see me. I hit Fn + F6 to verify the camera was on and it claims to be on, but still can not see anything.

Any adivice or things to try?

    Thanks!

    Raquel

I have no clue why that would happen but if I were you I'd just uninstall all camera drivers and software that came preinstalled with the laptop and let Windows recognize it and fit in a nice driver for it using Windows Update.

Did this on every laptop I owned, and it worked flawlessly.

You have to authorize the use of the camera in the Skype options I think.
