Very Soon! I already have myself 1st in line on the preorder list. Though pre-orders haven't begun yet, you can still get with your favorite reseller and make a committed payment arrangement. I've already pre-ordered, my pre-order. :)

I noticed you always the first to pre-order giant notebook, i'm just curious, did you still own all the laptops in your signature or you sold them once the new one arrived (in this case GT83)?

Based on pascal rumours I'd most likely say late september-october.

It depends, if the next iteration flagship is enough to entice me, I generally sell previous models to help finance the new latest-greatest. It's a sickness..... I can't help myself, LOL! :D

LOL! Wow, thanks Kevin! Is it here yet, is it here yet? :D

If not, tell Ken he can go ahead and pre-prepare my overnight shipping label. I don't want any delay when my new toy arrives in country.

LOL! It's Big, Bad, Bold, and Beautiful! Not that I'd consider actually taking the mammoth GT83 in public, but for this model I'm actually tempted. Just for grins, I'm thinking about taking it to a high traffic coffee shop or book store, setting up a discreet video camera, stepping back, and watching the oogling and gawking of passer-by'ers. Can you image all the questions of the huddling masses? I'll probably have to say, "Please, PLEASE, don't touch that!", at least 50 times or more. The leading question most will probably have is, "What the HECK is THAT Behemoth?" If I do this, I'll need an awesome demo loop to run.... any suggestions?

Are the first GT83's still going to be SLI 980 / 980m, or will the new GT83 herald the new Pascal GPU's??

Hands-on with MSI's Titan SLI gaming laptops, the GT83 and GT73
    http://www.windowscentral.com/hands-msis-titan-sli-gaming-laptops-gt83-and-gt73

MSI has been releasing new GT80 models about every 6 months, so if the first GT83's are still Maxwell, it will likely be another 6 months past September 2016 => March 2017, before we see the Pascal models.

I'd expect to see the first Pascal laptops on the streets in the next 45-60 days. Usually when we start seeing internet listings and specs the laptops are around within that time frame. Looks like the GT83 will have a GTX 1080m? 8GB SLI 6820HK and other stuff.

Of course it will have the new 1080's, with the new and faster GDDR5X (1080's only). Also, did I mention here that it will have dual 330W PA's?

Ken, yes technically you'll have it first, but this time, please, no playing with my new toy before shipping it, LOL! If I see you posting benchmarks early, I'll know you've been in my box. Of course there is one exception however, IF, you are upgrading my system memory or repasting my CPU & GPU's. ;) Then, I guess it will be Ok if you fondle my new toy, but treat it with love, LOL!

You could buy a decent used car for that price! Or remodel the house! Or take a two month vacation in Hawaii!

Meh, perhaps...... but somehow, I don't think those things will be a concern for the GT83 buyer. Personally, I wouldn't buy or trust a used car in this price range, and I am certain, a home remodel or vacation would be in a much higher bracket.

It all boils down to wants and needs, and what one can afford within their budget. I hope everyone who wants one, get's one! It's sure to be an AWESOME one!

    :)

Or you could buy an ultra high end notebook with the performance of an ultra high end desktop, that will last for years :D

Ya, and I am sure Striker keeps them for years too ;)
I just have way too many hobbies to justify that kind of cabbage. With my dirt bike, golf, and clay shooting, I have enough to keep me busy. I used to be the same when it came to desktops, back in the day.
