    Hi all,

    I'm unfortunately a UK resident, but I'm really interested in the 725. Unfortunately, I can only find the crippled 1680x1050 variant in th UK (even labelled as a special UK version) :(

    I was wondering whether there is any way at all to be able to get hold of a WUXGA 725 at all anywhere or any way?

    Ebay? I saw 4 systems coming from USA.

    You can also try Xtoic PC, they've got 075 version of GT725 w/ WUXGA + 320gb @7200rpm.

    eBay is probably your best bet ATM. I can't believe they are not giving the UK the wuxga. If they would just make 2 or 3 systems and allow everyone to purchase the same thing it would be beneficial to MSI. I would have to assume that this would lower engineering, testing, and manufacturing costs for MSI, which would equate to higher profit\ROI. This kind of crap irritates the heck out of me, especially when it comes to automobiles.

    If you are having a hard time finding a GT725-075US, you can get the WSXGA+ one and see if someone can order you the WUXGA screen from the GT735. The UK guys got the better WUXGA GT735, and the U.S. got the WUXGA GT725. Fair exchange, I'd say.

    HUH :confused: I thought the GT725 with the ATI HD4850 is better than the GT735 with the ATI HD3850 ??

    You have to remember the GT735 was the halo laptop for MSI prior to the GT627 and GT725. For a while, it was the best MSI laptop, and the UK model had the best configuration.
