I was wondering why there was such a difference in price for screen upgrades between the two manufacturers. Is one higher quality than the other? Is there a comparison between the base screens and higher gamut screens?

Sager can order in bulk and their machines can be ordered with the upgrade in place where as with msi the reseller has to source it themselves and replace an existing display.

The msi barebones come without other hardware though letting the price on upgrades even out.

    No.

The standard screen I had on my Clevo was much better than the one I have one my MSI.

This however, is the only aspect of the Clevo build quality that was superior to that of the MSI. Overall, the Clevo just doesn't compete with the MSI.....which will be why the Clevos can be had a good bit cheaper of course.

EDIT: sorry....u meant 'difference in price of upgrades'.
