I have an MSI fx600 with an I3-330M and a Geforce GT 325M. The problem is that when I play any sort of game for more than 5-30 mins (depends on the game), the game stutters and the framrate drops to a crawl. This happens mostly on new games, though some work for longer periods. This never used to be problem and has happened more and more recenlty. I've only had this laptop for about 6 months.

    Any suggestions?

No-one has any ideas? Am I the only one experiencing this?

It looks like the system downclocks the cpu/gpu or both. Download Throttlestop to log your cpu activity to find out what happens.

used that tool, but whenever I alt-tab out to monitor it (when it slows down) the temp and cpu load decrease and when I tab back in the problem is gone for a few minutes....perhaps it is to do with temperature?
