Unlike the top tier MSI notebooks the speakers are not that great and the I7 8th gen has the typical castration put onto it like all the other notebooks but other than that there isn't really anything you could complain about. The case is good, not as premium as Alienwares or Asus notebooks, but not to shabby either. The cooling performance is pretty good, no thermal throttling will happen, especially when you repaste it. It has good performance, good support, keyboard is the typical quality steelseries we are used to, the screen is a very fast 120hz TN panel with good viewing angles and extremely high color coverage, noiselevel is also very acceptable.

It's pretty much all you could want of a gaming notebook tbh, the price is also rather good. If you're looking for a new gaming notebook, it's worth purchasing.

It is indeed one of the best bangs for the buck right now. You get a lot of computer for the money.

I recommend you choose Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut + Fujipoly Extreme Thermal Pads for the best cooling and also, email [email protected] before you order maybe you can get the NBR Discount on top of that awesome deal

Sorry for borrowing the thread. I bought a msi GP63 8RF-630NE that came without a CPU fan. I am now trying to figure out what type of cpu-fan fits in this laptop.
Msi refuse to give me part number or any details on the fan. Anyone have any idea what type of fan this model have?

Ultra Male, would you by any chance know what type of CPU-fan the GP63 8RF-630NE uses? It has the E32-2500204-A02 heatsink. Do you think it uses the same CPU-fan as the Ge73 7rc or Ge73 7rd? Very thankful if you could guide me as Im going nuts.

I did contact the reseller and they said they don't have such information and I need to contact MSI. Upon contacting MSI they informed me they could not give out that type of information. So I basically have no one that could inform me, that's why I'm turning to the forums, in hope of someone knowing.

Try looking on Ebay. I can usually manipulate my search to find the correct part number or such.
