    i had this with my m1330... it was because of a bad ground in my power adaptor (liek the power stick)

    is it fine to continue using it like this? or should i ask the dealer about this?

    well, mine eventually stopped in my dell.
    It *could* be grounding in the laptop its self, your powerbrick, or your outlet... many scenarios.
