VSync is an ingame setting...
Any card can go it.
If you meant GSync the card technically supports it, I don't know if it will work though as the GT60 has optimus.panamaniacs2011 likes this. -

my bad , i meant gsync xD
edit: my laptop came with a gtx 880m and i got the 970m as an upgrade , it was plug and play -
The laptops monitor is not GSync. I never tried on mine so I don't know if the displayport is hooked up to the dGPU directly. @Talon would be the expert on this.
I had a GT60 and upgraded it to a 980m. (Btw why did you upgrade to a 970m? Can you feel a difference?)panamaniacs2011 likes this. -

i got the 970m because i had the throttling issue with the gtx 880m , (it kept throttling constantly) with this one i get excelent temps and no throttling , i would have gotten the gtx 980m but i didnt had the extra cash , im very pleased with this card but most def in the future ill buy a gtx 980m to max out this laptop -
I'd honestly recommend getting a new machine at that point. 980ms are still stupid expensive for how they perform. Getting a new GT62VR with a 1060 would be far better with new features and better build quality.
how do i know if my card is vsync
