since there's that warrenty sticker, how do you clean it out, do you just can a can of air and airblow it?
-
you should use canned air yes, but I'm literally broke so I use a shop vac.
lol
(I know, I know, I'm careful about it) -
so just spray canned air into the vent?
-
if you really wanna clean it well... or at least how i did with my old hp notebook was i opened it took the heatsink off and spray canned air till all the dust bunnies came out.. and put new thermal paste on the cpu and gpu as well... and it ran alot smoother.. canned air on the motherboard too..
-
Just check with MSI if they mind you removing the bottom panel (they didn't care with me). A couple of screws to release the fan, hit it with compressed or canned air, and they'll be clean as a whistle.
-
compressed air will do next to nothing if you don't open up the laptop.
-
Yeah, without opening it up, u'l be blowing dust back in, let alone off any off it.

without opening, your only option I think is using a vac.
Dont blow the dust into the notebook, suck it out. -
True, but that can cause the fan to spin, which isn't advisable when cleaning machines, then again a paperclip through the intake should do the trick.
-
Most of the time you can take your keyboard off with a few screws. then use compressed air can.
-
Dust Off does the trick. I don't mind using my microfiber cloth, too, for wiping the smooth brushed aluminum surface.
-
where are the screws for the keyboard? i own the gt627
