Lmao i just got it today, reviews said the fan noise on turbo was at most 50 to 60 decibels, that's laughably a terrible lie -_-. I was about 90 when i had the decibel meter app in the front of the vents. I could hear the fan half way across my house when the door was closed lol rip. So does the msi bios let you tweak the fan speed at turbo? Both my cpu and gpu are 5000rpm when i press that turbo button on the right side. If only it was black friday maybe coulda bought the max Q asus, GG

This is a performance laptop, the fans are made to be loud for a reason...
loudness measurement is done at the user level relative to the computer, not directly at the vents. Nobody would be dumb enough to stick their ears to the vents while in game.
IF you have wet tissue eardrums maybe you can swap laptops to a second grade nvidia maxi-pad model with under 40dba requirement from nvidia and lose your performance and dignity at the same time -
I just played an hour overwatch for an hour with the fan speed on 10% with dragon center, which wasn't audible, temps went to 71 max can't really feel it on my keyboards. I guess the turbo isn't really necessary but the noise is just lmao. Is there a way to put the power setting to balance every time i boot? Noticed it's always at high performance.

I have had m y GT73 since it came out and the only time I use Turbo is for bench marking, with my OC and a custom fan curve the fans never even get close to that level.

Are they loud enough when gaming to disturb other people in the room?
Like living room situation, when the tv is on or something. -
lol 5000rpm it is very disturbing lmao, but i haven't used it for gaming so far the auto fans aren't that loud and stays cool so.
