Here is a tip, if you want to see what new options are available in the BIOS without flashing it:
1. Download AMIBCP3.37:
http://www.rebelshavenforum.com/sis-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=52;t=000004
2. Rename the BIOS file to "*.rom" (without the quotes, * represents anything).
3. Open the bios with AMIBCP.
4. Click on the setup config tab.
5. Browse the folders on the left to see what options are available.
*do not mod the BIOS with this tool and flash it*
*this tool makes the BIOS corrupt, read up on BIOS modding before trying to mod your BIOS*
EDIT: I looked at the latest one for the GT627, no new bios options. -
the new version has power adjustments made to the acpi tables. ive went through it and they adjusted a number of power settings as it states on msi web site
