I just got my 1651 today. ID3.
But, it has an ID2 button panel, not the overly fancy one shown on their website for the GX620 and ID3.
Not a big deal, as I've read the turbo button still worked on the ID2,it just didn't have a light for it or anything.
How do I remove the panel to see if I have anything there that will confirm or deny whether or not I have Turbo functionality?

Pretty much. That's a 1722 from the looks of it, but yeah, seems pretty close.
My keyboard's a bit different though; I have the larger arrow keys and smaller 0 key, which I think I'm happier with. Still not thrilled with the keyboard...but then again, it's sitting next to a Thinkpad. Pretty tough competition. -
mine looks like that too T_T

so does the turbo work on that version? the ones i got had the metal mesh on them but i need another one and it looks like the one you pictured this time. i want to make sure the turbo works on that one though

turbo button comes on (according to the screen), and then my system freezes...so I'm guessing it does work, but my Merom won't do it.
Based on the door to the laptop, mine was built some time after Sept 1st 08. Bios was 1.0I
not a deal breaker, but maybe a disappointment.
