The GX620 [MSI-1651] runs with WinXP. There are some device drivers that you may have to download yourself and install, but on a barebones build, it all works.
If you order it from a dealer with XP installed, again I am sure everything will be working when you receive the Laptop..

Aww, that sucks. Can anyone else confirm or deny this?

And wouldn't that be something that's based on the bios or some bit of firmware rather than the operating system?

Media buttons work, but not eco. I think eco is based on lowered your computer's components through Vista's built-in power management scheme, which would explain why it wouldn't work with XP.

So far the turbo button freezes when I turn it on, but that may have something to do with my CPU, T7300, which isn't officially supported.

    Darn

Tomorrow my GT627 comes in and I'm planning on installing XP on it and all the XP drivers for the GX620.
