No problem, one more thing:
Turning on "Enable Wireless Isolation" also prevents DLNA certified wireless devices from using the DLNA Media Server for USB devices connected to the router.

I'm also looking for a Wireless N router, any suggestions for under $80 or so?
I have a couple computers that will use it, plus some game consoles and phones. -
Linksys E3000 is available for under $80 these days.
That's a very good router. -
I just got in my order for the WNDR3800, but I'm not opening it yet. I'm trying to work out something with Asus RMA to get them to send me back an RT-N66U instead of my fourth RT-N56U, so if they comply I'll give the newer Asus a try. If it works I'll be returning the WNDR3800, which I only paid $100 for new at newegg.com with a sweet coupon.
It was the coupon though that sold me on the WNDR3800. $100 was too hard to pass up and I knew I'd probably end up needing it if Asus fails on me again for the last time. I just wish I had known that the WNDR4000, which has a better review on smallnetbuilder than the WNDR4500, has a limited lifetime warranty. The WNDR3800 only gets a year warranty.
Anyone have extended warranty suggestions? -

We just got the E3000 refurbished at Newegg for $50. Appearance-wise, it looks identical to the new E3000 (no signs of anything physically amiss) other than the bulk packaging. Great deal, and it's an amazing upgrade over the old WRT54G.

I got a question for the people who are up to speed on all these models:
I am looking at the Cisco/Linksys E4200-RM..........is this actually the same as the E4200v1 or is this a different router altogether? If so whats the difference? -
It's a refurbished unit. If version is not mentioned it should be v1.

great info here, thanks.
I'm not really looking into upgrading my D-link DIR-625, a 4-(or so)-year-old device as of now, but could indeed use some 5GHz range due to the many networks around lately.
will be looking into something that does not pass the 100 dollar bill I guess. Probably the E3200
