    I have a problem with my Router(D-Link WBR-1310).

For the past two months, its been working perfect, and now all of a sudden its dropping connections, intermittenly working and such. Im thinking it might be busted, or it might be due to where I live?(A townhome with two floors and houses and routers aswell). I know it cant be the card, as I use the notebook every day at work. So what can it be?(No saying that D-link sucks or anything like that)

Interference from your neighbors is the most likely culprit. Other networks, misbehaving 2.4GHz cordless phones (ironically, 900MHz works better for phones), you name it. Switching wireless channels on your router may help (1, 6 or 11). Doing the usual router firmware upgrade wouldn't hurt either (probably). Upgrading the router's antenna might help too.

I was thinking the phone could be a problem(10ft between phone and router), but the odd thing is that it happened so sudden. Ive upgraded to the latest firmware(1.03), and also changed my IP address so there is no conflict on the router. Also what is the average for the SNR(signal to noise ratio usually?).
