This is going to be somewhat of a noob question - but I bought the 4300 gaming router because of the excellent reviews and the 108Mbps data rate. However - I came to realize that my notebook wireless card (IntelĀ® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG) in my Asus S96J handles only up to 54Mbps!So I assume in order to achieve the 108Mbps throughput, I'd have to get a wirless adapter capable of such speed right? Now, does it HAVE to be a DLink wireless adapter or can another brand capable of 108Mbps suffice? Another option I was thinking of was getting a wireless card for my S96J. The S96J has an "express card" card slot, but it doesnt seem like anybody makes wireless express cards yet!. Is this right? OR what if I replace my Intel wireless card with one that can handle higher speeds?
Suggestions?

Thanks!

Any wireless card with an Atheros chipset will do 108Mbps with your router.

Yeah, no point in more than 54mbps.
You wont notice, either your connection speed is not 54mbps or you hard drives will limit you from transferring over 54mbps on your network anyways. -

It's best to use the same MFG card as the router for best performance.
