This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Someone please help me, I'm going crazy trying to get this new laptop onto a new home network with my existing PC. Whatever I have tried, I cannon get the Wireless Network connection on the laptop to come on, is there something else I have to load in, any suggestions??

    Make sure there's no switch on the actual laptop that turns the wireless card on/off and may have been set to the off position, other than that the wireless card should just work.
