I disabled the DHCP on the router and now I can't access the router. Here is a screen shot. Can someone guide me on how to access the router again please?

Ignore the background, that is another router's set up.

You'll need to manually assign the IP information in the network card properties. Give yourself an IP address in the same subnet as the router, Then you'll be able to access the router again. If you're ultimately re-enabling DHCP on the router don't forget to go back to your NIC properties later and re-enable DHCP there as well.

or press the reset button on the back and reset it up

Dang! They beat me to the punch! Either way will work, and neither is particularly more efficient than the other.

Well, resetting the router means reconfiguring WPA, custom settings, etc. Setting the IP on the computer is definitely a lot less work than that.

Did you disable dhcp on the router or the computer? The screen shot you are showing us is for a computer.

Depends on how much customization you had on, and you'll still have to go revert the computer to DHCP afterward. For example, on my setup, it would take about as much typing either way. Also, resetting the router might be useful just on general principles if the thing's been running for a long time.

Only if he knows the ip range he should connect to, and how to do it--not hard for a network saavy guy or gal, but I can barely walk my brother-in-law though turning his computer on during a phone call.
But, pushing a button...he can handle that. As he likes to tell me, he's an engineer!
I disabled DHCP on Linksys router and now I can't access it.
