I'm looking into purchasing a new laptop, and there are two options for the wireless card:

    Intel Ultimate 6300 (450 Mbps)
    Intel Advanced 6250 + WiMax (300 Mbps)

While I know most routers only support 300 Mbps, and I would typically use the card for Internet, is the 450 Mbps good futureproofing? Otherwise, should I go with the WiMax capable card, even though there is no guarantee I'll live somewhere where it's available? What would you get?
