Hi - when i modify files on my Webhost server, i'm not seeing the changes on the website immediately.. even after, clearing internet cache, using CCleaner - it does'nt help. any tools or software that will allow me to see changes immediately ?
I've noticed this difference when i switch internet from office to home. my home connection has a router which picks up signal from antenna. whereas office conn. has a IP address. so diif. is that my home conn. is wireless..
I'm able to see changes on my website immediately from office conn...

maybe a proxy (isp/work) isn't updating right away?

reboot your router/modem ?
or use open DNS -
Shift+F5 means "force reload from the server". It's one way to be sure you're getting the newest data the web server is serving.
That said, how is your server configured? Is there perhaps a transparent proxy at your place or at work that is affecting that? -
And what are you using to update it now?
