Intel® 3945 802.11a/g Mini-card
-
I went with it for my dell and while it is more than adequate for your ordinary wireless needs, I would recommend going with the wireless N.
The wireless N has stronger signal strength, more range, and is compatible with new wireless platforms. -
Could I upgrade to wireless N in the future?
-
an N card will fit in the slot but they require three antennas, the regular AG cards have two antennas.
-
you could connect a N-card say the intel 4965 using only to antennas instead of three and it will work but i cant say how good the signal reception
Is this card any good?
