Linksys is not the easiest to set up. But the performance is great.
I would reccomend a G router also since it's speed is 5 times as fast (download/transfer that is).
I would maybe look at Netgear's G routers. They usually have really nice/cheap routers for under $40USD.
But i would check my guide (sticky at the top of this forum). It has about 15 routers that gives a brief description about each one. -
thanks, i already read your guide. i just found this one now though, by FAR the best price ive found for any router.
what do you think?

Are you sure your going to be fine with B? An extra $10 dollars can get you a little more than that. But that's a decent router of you choose that one.
What are you going to be using the router for? -
just playing poker, surfing the net, playing online games.
-
Alright, a B router is fine. Let me know of you find one you like, or have me find one for you.

I think the D-link i posted above looks like the best deal. even with the 9 pound completely outragous delivery charge.
-
Yeah, that is a little heavy. But it is still a good deal.
Go for it!
-
alright, thanks for your help.
-
Sigh....
dosnt look like im getting that then. i keep getting an error when trying to pay for it. i tried to phone them but nothing seemed to happen when i dialed their number. it dosnt look good, i dont think i want to deal with them now. -
how about this one? a plus is it comes from the same site that i want to buy other stuff from.

is that decent? does it mean i can move around most of the house, say through 3 walls quite close together?
Max Range Indoors 100 m
Max Range Open Space 300 m -
Yeah that should be fine.
Is this linksys router on ebay right for me?
