    I used to use this program on my computer that allowed me to connect computers that weren't on my network to connect to simulate a LAN if anyone knows what im talking about any help would be great thanks.

    thanks i downloaded it and nothing really happened except now i can see my brothers computer which is at my house and i can't really do anything from lap top at my dorm, i read through the site and haven't found a whole lot on it does anyone know how to use it?

    You need to install it on any computers that you want to be on your "virtual LAN" or more precisely, VPN (virtual private network). Then create a network and have all the other computers join the network.

    Okay, obviously it wasn't that application that you used in the past....seeing that you don't know how to use it. So what exactly was this program you used really for? How did it work? Was it a third party program?

    The Hamachi_Getting_Started_Guide.pdf and Hamachi_User_Manual.pdf files (on the Hamachi website) didn't help?
