Title. Once or twice a day my AW13 cannot actually use its wifi capabilities, it remains connected to the network and windows diagnostics refuses to even consider that there may be something wrong. I have tried all the usual winsock resets and ipconfig slashes, but nothing seems to work. I've changed the Killer wireless card with an Intel one and the same symptoms manifest, and it while it at first sounds like a router issue, the laptop cannot connect to the other one in the house. (default is an archer C7 and the other is the comcast junk 2 in 1) The only thing i can do is shut it down and turn it back on and it'l work for a few more hours. The only things out of the ordinary i can think of that happened were
1. Windows Creator Update mkII came out
and
2. I assigned another laptop a static IP address on the Archer C7
However, the fact that once this happens i can neither access the C7's web interface, nor the other laptop's local IP, or connect to the comcast thing without a reboot, means it shouldn't be the C7 doing this?. Are there any known fixes for this or is the laptop shot?

Hello Rothcall,
I'm not sure if you are currently using the Killer or Intel adapter, but the fixes should be similar, regardless. Take a look at this guide - http://killernetworking.com/driver-downloads/kb/faq/72-wi-fi-adapter-disabling - in our knowledge base and see if any of those steps resolve the issue for you.
Also, another thing to note - the Archer C7 often has issues with some modern MU-MIMO Wi-Fi adapters, including the 1535. These issues present with the router restarting constantly, so that is not the problem that you are currently seeing, but if you do not update the firmware on the Archer, it will be a problem with at least the Killer adapter. I would suggest updating the Archer to the latest available firmware and, if it has issues restarting when you connect to it, have a look at this thread - http://forum.tp-link.com/showthread...aptop-with-Killer-adapter&p=195886#post195886 - on the manufacturer's forum, where they have a beta firmware that addresses these bugs.
If you need any further assistance with your Killer adapter, please feel free to contact us directly at [email protected]
