I need a router that will work with the new intel N card, i have a cable connection. Do you think I can find something around $50 range?

for new routers, the cheapest I see this week are at best buy, for the N, the d- link rangebooster N(2 antennae's) is 79.99. now you can always get a netgear wnr N(3 ant-internal), refurbished off ebay for under $45- thats what we did when we were trying out the different makes/brands.
Circuit City also has an belkin N router on sale for $69, but I wouldn't buy a belkin, as I think most here would tell you......
stick w/ d-link, netgear, linksys......... the N routers are backwards compatible, so I'd buy N, though many still recommend G, since N is still in draft form until 2009 -
I recommend this one from TrendNet.

Mine has been great, easy to set up, fast, stable, and no problems at all.

Before Buying, check out this review >> WiFi Routers
blue can give you more of an idea on whats a good bet on the in the commercial line........ he is very experienced in that regards....... They tend to be more durable, withstand heavier use, etc..... -
I second the TrendNet. I've been using it for more than 6 months without any problems.
