Why is it that all the software required to run mobile broadband are resource hogs? I've tried mobile broadband with Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint; all of which were a pain in the neck! The driver, controller, what ever you call it, needs so much of your computers resources it's crazy. Isn't Mobile Broadband supposed to also be for netbooks? In what world could this run on a netbook?!
Has anyone else experienced this?

I usually peruse the disk that came with the USB modem, and extract the basic hardware driver for the modem, then just use Window's own managed connection properties. I HATE VZAccess Manager!
Mobile Broadband Software is a resource hog!
