My internal antenna for my laptop is not cutting it in my apartment that has community wireless. Im am getting at most 2 bars and i would like to increase the range. I was looking at the Hfield Wi-Fire. Is this one of the best products to get in the $60 price range? I would make a homemade one if i was at home but it isn't practical while in college. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just posted these in another thread
1. BlueProton GSKY Wireless 500mW Adapter
2. Senao EnGenius EUB362 adapter
3. Alfa USB 500mW WiFI Adapter
And the Alfa is rated the highest. Plug em into google and see the reviews. -
I have the senao and the Alfa
Both work fine

I'm by no means endorsing this product, but would a range extender like this one be a more friendly solution?
Hawking has some high gain repeaters and signal boosters that would likely do very well for you. After a quick look (do more checking) this look like it could be a winner.
This way you wouldn't need anything additional attached to your notebook, and it would improve life for any family/visitors.
Need a recommondation on wireless antenna
