I'm sorry if this has been answered before, but I looked and couldn't find any answers.
In anticipation for my new dv7t laptop, I am looking for a new wireless N router. Now from what I understand wireless N is still in "DRAFT". Does this mean that I have to buy the same manufacturer of router as my 5100AGN card, or will any router do?
And while I'm at it...any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Wireless N is a completed standard, so any 802.11n router from any brand will work with your Intel 5100. BTW Intel does not make routers.

Thanks for the reply. I feel much better spending $100+ on a new wireless N router now.

Wireless N is not a completed standard yet.
It's almost there though, so yes you can feel safe buying a router still. -
So as far as routers go, what is the difference between "draft n" and "n?"

Oops, thanks for correcting me.
I knew that it wasn't a completed standard yet, but I made a mistake in my post.
@ OP: There is no real difference between "Draft N" and "N". I believe that Draft N was the common name for early N products when they first came out like 2 years ago.

It just means that the standard is not finished and fully accepted yet. But I see very unlikely to be different at the time of launch.
I believe N or Draft N is the same.
Question regarding wireless N routers.
